Ideas & inspiration behind Habin garden rooms
A warm hug
We drew a lot of inspiration from the Scandinavian word hygge (handy pronunciation hint: it’s hoo-gah). It has no direct translation in English, but we like to think of it as meaning a warm hug. That’s the kind of feeling we want our Habins to give you, that exhale of contentment as you step into your very own Habin.

Happy little cabin
At Habin, our ethos is all about promoting wellbeing. This is why we created the word Habin from the phrase ‘happy little cabin’, which we think emulates a warm and cosy space. The practice of hygge puts a lot of emphasis on natural materials, and our Habins do too. They come with different cladding options and a choice of other exterior features so you can have your Habin, your way. This approach allows us to create Habins just as unique as you are.
